The Second World War is a historically important and exciting period - it is also the setting of Call of War. As the proud leader of your people it is in your power to manage all decisions of your country. Your country is separated into several provinces and each one of them produces one of seven different resources. These resources allow you to build up the necessary infrastructure and production capacity to recruit units, research technology and gain even more resources. In Call of War you can play multiple games in parallel. You can gain badges and ranks whilst doing so which shows how far along you have gone in your conquests.

This is a strategy based online game that works by real time. You can conquer provinces, build units, research, upgrade provinces, and work together with other players of the community. Your goal is to fulfill the victory conditions of that specific game (look into the news panel called “World Herald” to view the conditions). This guide will help you to get into the game and support your effort to achieve first victories on the battlefield! Your very first game will be a so-called tutorial game, it is meant to introduce you to the very basic mechanics of Call of War like the creation of units, how to construct buildings, upgrade and research as well as the use of gold (premium currency). You will start with a random nation at a random map, later games might offer you a free country selection though.

You are able to skip the tutorial if you choose to do so. But we suggest you complete it. Who knows, there could be a present for you if you complete it. You only have to play it once though, not on every game you add. Creation OptionsIf you scroll further down, you will see different options that might be used when you create a game: Frontline Pioneer is only accessable for players with a Frontline Pioneer Account.

Elite AI (Artificial Intelligence, meaning those nations that are not handled by players but by the engine) is a so called 'gold feature' which means that the use of this feature subtracts 5000g from your account as well as from each player who joins this round. If you have a Premium account, joining and creating 'gold rounds' is for free. Country selection lets you set a game where everyone can pick his or her favourite nation. Other functionsThe first striking feature might be the map, which is depending on the game you chose. It will be updated once per day.

Skipping to older issues of the World Herald will always show the map as it was on the day you select. That way, you can get an impression of the current developments in Europe, for example, the spread of nations. The red flame-like icons show where rebellions are happening (province below 30% morale) or where war is possibly going on.The Index of Nations is sorted by victory points:In the Game Info you can find valuable information such as how many victory points you need to win the game, or to even see how much time there is until your next day change. If there are any rules for that game, you can see them here.Stats will show you 1 of 4 game details (depending on the day) such as: Countries with the largest economy, the most technologically advanced countries, the world's mightiest armies, and the wealthiest nations. RelationsDiplomatic Relations is a major aspect of the game. It is your choice whether you want to declare war on someone, or become allies.

The choices you make decide whether or not you will make it to the end of a game. There are many options to choose, so choose carefully. Here are the 6 Relations you can have with another country.War: You and the enemy country are at war. Any units that intersect will be in battle. Any units within bombardment range will be damaged, and any crossing into an enemy province and reaching the dot(City point) will result in you capturing that province.

There is an automatic embargo on both sides.Embargo: Cannot use the market to buy offers from the country you have been embargoed.Peace: Markets are now open (no embargo). You do not gain morale penalties from being at war.Right Of Way: Allows military access through an allied country without declaring war.Shared Map: Allows military acccess through an allied country and the ability to see their units/land.Shared Intelligence: A high command feature. Exactly like share map, but allows you to see the other maps shared with the country. Lets say for example, Morocco shares map with Turkey, and then Turkey shares map with you.

Galaxy on Fire Alliances, abbreviated as GoFA, was a multiplayer stratagy game from Fishlabs, set in the Galaxy on Fire universe. It was a free-to-play, resource-based, real-time strategy game, and a a spinoff of the Galaxy on Fire series. The game took place within the Shroud Nebula, a hitherto uncharted region of space that had only recently been discovered. Galaxy on fire alliances carrier.

You can now see both Morocco and Turkeys land/units.You can give someone relations through the first page of Diplomacy by clicking the relations icon. It will give you choices of what to change it to. That doesnt always mean a player will return what you gave them. This is helpful when dealing with AI. If you send peace of Right of Way, they will usually return it within 2-3 days.Another way is to set up a trade with a player in which you can offer relations in return for something else.

This is much easier when dealing with active players. You cant trade with AI through this way.

Research plays a crucial role in Call of War, you will not be able to produce a unit without researching and thus unlocking it first. The research tab is located at the upper left, below the flag and next to diplomacy tab - its sign looks like a microscope:The research feature or tech tree consists of 5 different branches - Infantry, Armor, Air, Naval and Secret. On the righthand side you can see the research slots, information about the according unit and the time needed to research it. Select a unit and press 'Start researching button' to start the research. Each use of the research functions comes with a certain cost to pay, the price depends on the unit and can be seen beforehand right below.

Research may be speeded up with gold.If you take a close look at the units available for research, you will note 4 different colours of dots in the lower right corner of each one. The orange dot on the units image means that the unit can be researched, the blue one means the unit is currently being researched, green means the unit is already researched and red one means the unit is not available for research.Once you selected a unit, you may see its values, upkeep and further information from the ( i ) in the tech information. Coalitions are similar to alliances, but the coalitions are only active in one game.

    Is aion worth playing 2019

So you have to create a new one for every map you play on.A coalition is a good way to interact and communicate with allies. In the upper left corner you can find the button to open the coalition menu.Create a coalitionTo create a coalition you just have to click on the create a coalition button. Then you can enter a name, description, and picture for a flag. Make sure the picture is not too big, otherwise you cannot upload it.

Once you have created a coalition, other players can apply for it.Join a coalitionTo join an existing coalition you have to click on the info button and apply. The coalition leader will then receive your application and decide about it.Leave a coalitionTo leave a coalition, just click on My coalition and use the Leave coalition button. Each nation starts with a certain number of provinces, of which some produce resources while other only produce Manpower and Money. Manpower and Money are produced globally (meaning everywhere). The provinces also differ in the number of Victory Points they grant you, some provinces don't give any at all.If you click a province you are able to see the daily production on the far left of the popup (shows a resource, money, and manpower indicated by a green helmet). Clicking the 'i' next to Productivity per day will show you the production of resources, if there is a non core penalty, daily consumption (if it's your province) and population.Other valuable information you can see is when you click the 'i' next to Morale.

It will show morale percentage, morare trend (the rate morale increases in the province), army strength (if theres an army stationed), and morale influences (factors that affect morale development, such as distance from capitol). MoraleHaving low Morale on a province might lead to a revolt - the province declares itself as part of another country. Daily consumption is quite important - failing to fill it leads to a drop of morale. Running out of food/oil can start a decline in morale, as will declaring war with multiple countries. To raise Morale in a province you might either use Gold or fill their daily consumption and the morale will raise slowly at daychange. Also, building fortifications and placing your capitol close to provinces can help. Victory Points, Province Type and TerrainIn the upper right of the province menu you can see information about the province type. Non-core provinces are occupied and have a -75% production penalty.

They have a striped backround. You can also see the flag to the left of 'Core Province' or hover around it to see who owned that core province. The star next to the province type indicates the number of Victory Points. This is what you need to reach the required VP to win the game. The amount of VP varies depending on the province and amount it has been upgraded.

At the end of a game, all remaining active players earn gold from the VP.The image on the far right (the trees in this picture) shows, which terrain the province is. Terrain is a key factor that will affect the outcome of many battles. Each type of terrain has different features:Plains - Motorized units are faster on plains. Tanks can use their maneuverability to inflict more damage to their opponents. Motorized armoured units gain a +50% strength bonus on plains as well.Hills - Varied terrain which both - infantry and mechanized units can use to their advantage. Militia gain a +75% strength bonus.Mountains - Rough Mountains reduce the movement speed and combat strength of all units.

Only commando units have special training to excel in this terrain (a +100% strength bonus). Motorized/armoured units suffer a -25% strength penalty.Urban - Tanks are slow and easy targets for infantry units in urban combat.

All motorized armoured units suffer a -50% strength penalty. Tanks in addition to the strengh penalty, have half of their max HP (Health Points). Construction, Production, SpiesWhile the ' Construction' button opens the menu to construct buildings, ' Production' on the other hand is where you can create units. The ' Spies' function shows you the number of active spies and lets you recruit or dismiss spies.

In your own nation, the last function on the far right is the ' Rally Point' (a High Command feature) which can be dragged to set a point for your troops to gather. In a foreign nation you will see the ruler instead, as well as their relation to you (e.g.

Peace or War). In Call of War you have the choice between 34 different units (we counted Nuclear Energy as a unit) from 5 different branches: Infantry, Armor, Air, Naval and Secret. Each of these units offers a set of unique features with regard to speed on different territories and strengths or weaknesses in combat with other units (or terrain). Units have to be researched and require certain buildings. Without both you will not be able to produce them.

The information button ( i ) in the research tab will tell you more about the specific units. GeneralEach unit requires certain resources for the daily upkeep, and failing to provide those will reduce their Morale. Selecting the unit gives you a view of their Morale and current position. If the unit is marching, it will show the province the unit is relocating to, travel time and arrival time.To raise their Morale you might either use Gold or keep them out of combat in one of your provinces.

You may specify a name for certain units (battleships and nuclear bombers) - to view the name, you select it and then select the unit image. Here you can get access to very useful info such as: enemies destroyed (HP), condition, state-based damage efficiency, battalion the unit is part of, and the unit count. Attributes of the unit can be viewed just under the unit info. Some certain units have an attack range - you can see the range of the unit by clicking it. The white circle is as far as it can go without needing another airbase to stop at. CommandsAttack: select a unit and give them the attack command, or just drag them to the province or unit you want to attack. If your unit garrison crosses path with a hostile army, or when its way passes the main city in a hostile province, fights will begin.

If your army wins the fight, the remaining troops will execute the previously given command and commence moving into the original direction. If you and your ally attack a province, the army that fails to get the province first, will cancel their attack.March: moves the unit to a selected point.Split: splits your army up.Delay: delays the unit's movement and makes them reach their target at a certain time. Selecting multiple armies will make them reach their target at the same time.Forced March: incrases march speed for 50% but gives a morale penalty of 5 per hour.Add Target: grants the ability to select additional targets. WarfareMost attacks occur automatically: If your army crosses path with a hostile army, or when its way passes the main city in a hostile province, fights will begin. If your army wins the fight, the remaining troops will execute the previously given command and commence moving into the original direction. Artillery also has an auto-bombardment feature: Idle long-range weapons will start firing at the closest enemy. It is often better to have units select their own target instead of giving an explicit attack order.Even infantry units have a range.

Thus it can happen that your army starts fighting before it reaches its target. In this case the fight will be finished before the army commences its way to the target. In some cases more than one country starts an attack on a single enemy province. Should an ally of yours win the province before you do, your units will continue attacking the city and will cause a war between you and your ally. In order to avoid this, you should not attack the city itself in your initial attack order, but the troops stationed in the city. You can do that by selecting the army in the city as a target or, if the army units aren't visible, the flag that marks the city. War-Like OperationsAre your troops on their way through a particular nation, they will cause war when they meet troops of the nation they are walking through. This happens, when their status to your country is either 'war', 'trade embargo', 'ceasefire' or 'peace'.

Peace just means that the particular troops won’t start an attack, when they’re in range (in case of weapons with range like Artillery, Railguns or Battleships). The only way for them, to cross roads in one of these statuses without triggering a war is while they’re on international territory (e.g. Sea).Nations which have a right of way, shared map or a shared intelligence can meet everywhere on the map without starting a fight. Counter-IntelligenceSelect the province you want to protect and assign Counter Espionage spies. Spies on a mission will perform their mission and get paid once a day, but can also get caught. There is no limit on how many spies you can put on a province! The different kinds of spies serve different interests:Counter Espionage Spies counter and reveal enemy spy activity on your territory.Intelligence Spies gather information about the enemy's diplomatic relations and economical activities.Economic Sabotage Spies damage the morale in the province they're put in, as well as destroy resource production.Military Sabotage Spies try to interfere with the enemy's military plans and infrastructure.

There are 7 different resources in Call of War, and each of it has a different purpose. Resources are being produced and consumed throughout the game, just not each resource is produced in each province, and not every province can produce resources. The Resource bar displays how much resources you have and the amount you make per hour. Each province does also produce tax revenue in pound, the amount of income (just like resources) can vary depending on the morale of your provinces and whether they have upgrades or not. Production and consumption values are updated once per day (day change). Production and consumption values change depending on a positive or negative value, which will affect the production of resources. If you take a moment to watch your resource bar, your resources are constantly increasing/decreasing.If you hover over a resource, you can see how much you have in stock, the amount you produce per day and the total amounts used for consumption.Keep an eye out if any of your resources hour rates go negative, that means you are using up more than you can produce.

You can prevent this, or turn the unbalance by upgrading your province and doing things such as shutting down unused barracks/naval docks/nuclear reactors. Resources: FunctionsGrain is being needed for troops and citizens, the higher your population and unit count, the higher the consumption of grain will be. You also need Grains for a variety of buildings, such as for example barracks.

Disabling the barracks does however drastically lower the consumption of Grain.Goods is mainly a building material but is also consumed by the population.Manpower is necessary to recruit and build anything in the infantry section of unit construction. It does also vary on the land you own, as each province creates manpower which can improve with higher morale. Manpower can be raised with barracks, but only enabled barracks will increase the manpower production - and production as well as consumption is only updated with the day change.Metal is a resource used to build main upgrades and buildings.Oil is used for most types of mechanical units such as tanks and planes. Those units also raise the oil consumption, as well as a little oil might be necessary for certain upgrades.Rare materials is a resource that's mainly used for researching and for nuclear units/weapons.

Nuclear reactor's are the only upgrade to consume rare materials but it can be disabled.Money is used for everything you build, and it’s increased by land, morale and upgrades. Spies consume money which is only charged at day change.Shortages of any resource may lead to morale loss and even units effectiveness may be affected when they go into battle. Stock marketApart from naturally collecting resources and trading, the stock market is a great way to buy or sell resources that you need/don't need.Open the stock market from the menu below your resource bar. You can sell or buy any kind of resources here, the most important thing you have to watch out for is the @: it serves as a quotient when you calculate the price of an item. If for example 5000 grain are for sale and the quotient is @0.5 in Gold, the price would be 2500g (as 5000.0.5 is 2500).You can take advantage of the stock market by buying resources for a low price and selling it for a higher price.

Embargoing another country or being at war, will prevent them from buying from your offers, or you buying from theirs.Top Offers: Shows the best offers selling/buying.All Offers: Shows every offer available for you to choose from.My Trades: Shows your current sell offers. Also shows a history of what you have bought/sold in the market. You can buy or sell any resource here except for manpower, unless you spend gold to buy it./previewiconWhen you click on it once, it will subtract from your gold count automatically and add your resource totaWhen you click on it once, it will subtract from your gold count automatically and add your resource total. Gold is the premium currency in Call of War, it might be used to obtain various special features. You can also play very successfully without Gold, but a targeted Gold operation may also be the deciding factor for a victory. The premium account is called High Command. As a member of the High Command you can use certain functions, which are not available to other players, and in particular those who help other players that are not online around the clock. To do this you will receive among other things better possibilities of co-operation with other players and more control over your units and production. Some premium features are:- Free Gold rounds- Rally points- Building queue- Advanced fire control- Joint intelligence- Upload pictures in the newspaper. Army ReinforcementIf your troops (or any unit for that matter) return from the war, have been marching for an extended period on foreign soil or are weakened by a forced march, you have the opportunity to increase their morale, by sending them reinforcements.

The costs are based on the total strength of the army: the higher the attack power, the more expensive are the gold costs. Increasing in mechanical units is therefore more expensive than infantry units, as they have a greater attacking power. The morale increase can be found in the Army Info window next to the Morale notices. If you move your mouse over the button, the calculated costs for this special army will be shown. The collectibles are part of a meta feature.

In an enemy or neutral province a crate is dropped. It will never appear in your ally’s province. The crates only appear in 22 players, 100 players and pacific maps. When you create a new game you can enable or disable the crate feature. You have a certain amount of time to conquer this province and collect the crate. In the top righthand corner a symbol with a timer appears showing you how much time is left. The crate will grant you either resources or blueprints.Collecting a certain amount of blueprints of the same type unlocks a new unit tech level. The progress of unlocking blueprints is visible in the user profile. The amount of blueprints needed varies per unit. Weaker units are easier to get, stronger units need more blueprints. When you have collected enough blueprints, you can research the new unit.

But this is only possible in an already advanced game. The new units are pretty strong, so you will find them a useful addition to late games.
